Iposen Biopharm

Car park and Amenity Area illumination at the Ipsen Pharmaceuticals Plant at Wrexham, UK.  The Photo shows one of the 5 Optra 400w high performance, low glare Luminaires installed.

These Architectural and low glare Luminaires are for the illumination of car parks and general amenity areas.  They have full cut-off and are dark-skies friendly.  The superior optics  allow for wide spacings between the Poles without any reduction in lighting uniformity. This results in savings on Poles, Luminaires, energy, relamping and in installation (wiring, trenching etc).

Also shown are Louvered Bollards for pathway illumination (which are also available in a version which can be controlled by internal Occupancy sensors).

Crane & Marine Floodlighting

Dubai Ports

The 2 main Ports in Dubai were relit with Heavy Duty 1000w Marine Grade Floodlights to provide white light and high light levels.  The Luminaires were mounted on existing Container Cranes.  The contrast between the old Floodlights and the new scheme was so great that  the remaining Floodlights were also changed.  The new Floodlights have special anti-vibration protection and high tolerance against voltage swings, which is often an issue on Cranes.  These Floodlights are in use in many Marine areas including Portsmouth Harbour UK, Durban in South Africa, New York, etc.

Grande Salle Lausanne

Grand Salle, Lausanne, Switzerland.   Industrial look High Bays with instant on/off illumination.

Usually, IL Series high Bays would be installed in heavy duty environments, such as Aircraft Hangers, Power Plants, Mechanical Engineering Facilities, etc.  Its heavy duty construction and robust IP65 sealing, with easy access for lamp changing has made it a favourite in such applications.  However, it is also used widely in Sports and General purpose Halls.  It was chosen by Architects in Lausanne for this Project.

Zooetmeer Holland Parkdisc

This underground carpark project was supplied recently using 52 x Parkdisc luminaires. Each luminaire was a 2 x 55w TC-L version. There was another 22 x Parkdiscs 2 x 26w TC-L version witha dimming system.

The carpark area is also the entrance to a Retail Complex and the Parkdisc was chosen because of its slim architectural appearance.   The Local Authority in Zoetermeer has used many VeeLite Products over the last 20 years including the Supralite for external parking area and the Parklite for bridge Underpasses as well as conventional carparks.
