AVRS

AVRS

Industrial lighting and Warehouse lighting applications require Luminaires with a high performance reflector system, low maintenance and is energy efficient.

AVRS in Wellesbourne, Warwickshire  is an example of a typical industrial lighting project.  Approx 250 WideBay luminaires were supplied.

For the illumination of Factories or Warehouses, the efficient reflector system results in a wide spacing between the Luminaires and still provides high light levels (both vertical and horizontal) with good uniformity.  Good light levels on the vertical sides of machinery, storage racks, etc is sometimes overlooked.

Other advantages for factory lighting include the dust-tight reflector system, the acrylic safety lens (no glass), the long life lamps (typically 20,000+ hours average life) and the robust, low maintenance and reliable control gear.

For general High Bay type lighting Projects, we need less Luminaires and this improves the appearance of the Project – ie. less overhead clutter.  The modern appearance of the Luminaire is also a help.

Industrial lighting requires high efficiency Luminaires, and reliable and low maintenance operation for long periods.

Quinn Glass in Cheshire, England  is an industrial lighting project which is typical of large industrial Buildings.  Several hundred Widebay luminaires were supplied.   A similar Project was later installed at Newport in Wales for the same customer.

Designed specifically for quality industrial illumination, the efficient optical system  provides high light levels, on both vertical and horizontal surfaces.  Vertical surfaces would include  the vertical sides of machinery, storage racks, walls, etc.

As many  Facilities operate on a 24/7 basis, the reliability of the  lighting system is very important.  Typically, the lamps supplied have an average lamp life of 20,000+ hours and the Control Gear is very robust and reliable.  This avoids the disruption of regular maintenance associated with Fluorescents and standard Metal Halide systems.

VeeLite specialise in Industrial lighting and we also offer specific Luminaires for other areas including (a) Buildings with Ceilings over 10m high;  (b) The Food Industry where extra safety is needed; (c) Warehouse lighting in Aisles; and (d) Warehouse Loading Bays.

Industrial lighting in the Food processing sector requires Luminaires which meet the demands of general industrial lighting but also meet extra requirements specific to the Food Industry

ABP in Ellesmere, Shropshire, England used VeeLite pendant Luminaires with remote gear for the illumination of a Food Processing area.  The Luminaire is very suitable for the Food Industry because it is dust-tight (suitable for wash down areas), has a safe acrylic lens (meets the ‘No-Glass’ requirement for Food areas), and uses a Protected lamp (which will not explode and drop glass fragments into Food or Machinery.   It also has the high performance, energy efficiency, and low maintenance, long life features which are required in all types of Industrial lighting.

The wide spacings which arise from its efficient optics provide high light levels with good uniformity.  The Luminaire is also available as a Pendant (with internal gear) or in a recessed version, ideal for insulated panel ceilings where all maintenance and relamping can be carried out from above the ceiling.

VeeLite specialise in Factory and Warehouse lighting and in lighting for Food processing areas.
