Health Centre lighting

The Townfield Health Centre lighting in Prenton, Wirral (near Liverpool) has been supplied with 6 illuminated Bollards in RAL 9005 Black finish.  They provide a pleasing architectural effect around the Building.  A similar number of non – illuminated Bollards was also installed and evenly located between the illuminated Bollards.

These lighting Bollards were supplied in Rooted Version, although a Flanged option is also offered. This Product is usually supplied as an illuminated Stainless Steel Bollard, but painted aluminium is sometimes requested, as in this Project.  Typically, these lighting Bollards are supplied in 16w LED version.

Health Centre Lighting

The LED Bollard offers the advantages of minimising maintenance and relamping.  As it is manufactured by VeeLite, we can alter to specification – shorter/longer slots, number of slots, overall height, etc.  We have supplied wider 4.5m height versions for example.

VeeLite also offer other illuminated LED Bollards in various heights and wattages, as well as traditional Bollards operating on HPS, Metal Halide and Compact Fluorescent lamps.  Some LED Bollards have the option of internal Motion Sensor which can switch the Luminaire off when there are no people nearby, and switch on as soon as people movement is detected.  There is also the option of dimming to 10% light output instead of switching off.  This might be more appropriate for some Projects as there is always a minimum light level.
