LED WideBays from VeeLite provide high illumination at MaArdles Transport in Damastown Industrial Estate, Dublin. The Deep lens provides several advantages for Industrial lighting applications including: Minimising Glare (a common problem with LED HighBays in Factory lighting); providing 2 to 3 times more Vertical illumination compared to Conventional Factory lighting, and wider spacings between Luminaires.
Vertical illumination refers to light falling on Vertical surfaces – eg. Walls, Racking, Machinery etc – Most Factory lighting is designed to throw light on horizontal surfaces – Floor, desk top, etc but this can leave dark walls, more shadows, etc. Wide Spacings means less Luminaires are required without causing dark spots or reducing uniformity ratios below lighting standards.
LED Factory lighting with anti-glare Lens provides a higher level of comfort for Staff and Visitors. Typically providing 50% energy savings compared with older Metal Halide systems. There is also the advantage of dimming if required. In this way, lighting can be switched to a lower light level at off-peak hours providing further energy saving. Life is significantly longer with average failure times typically between 50,000 or 100,000 hours or more (depending on Wattage and local factors etc). The main electrical components of LED Driver and LED Module are serviceable and can be replaced or upgraded if necessary.
We also provide a recessed Option for this Luminaire. Typical mounting height is between 5m and 10m high. We provide alternative solutions for Factory lighting where the installation height is above 10m and have special optics for mounting heights up to 50m.
We provide lighting calculation drawings to advise how many fittings are required and can advise energy payback calculations. All Luminaires are offered with Emergency or dimming options.
